Ethics

In completing an interview for our ethics projects my partner and I focused on the subject of abuse.  Before completing the interview I had my own opinion on the subject of abuse.  Afterwards I gained a lot of new information that made me think about the different aspects of the subject for a personally perspective as well as a professional perspective.  I think that from a professional perspective the interviewee was very knowledge and consist about handling situations of abuse.  She provided many resources that she would use in order to help victims who she believed to be in an abusive setting.  Her methods were very much in line with her professional role.  I was impressed by everything that she shared with us being that I had already had that same idea regarding the situation but in speaking with her I also gained new information and ideas to think about.  This interview, a side from being a project, actually helped me to gain insight about different resources that I can offer to patients who may be in abusive situations.  This professional was very knowledgeable about to subject and definitely helped the process run smoothly.
